This Privacy Policy explains how Fleet Centr ("we", "us", or "our") collects, uses, stores, and shares personal information when you visit our websites, create an account, or use our Operations Platform, Vehicle Tracking, developer tools, or related services (the "Services").

We are committed to handling personal information responsibly and in accordance with applicable privacy laws, including the Australian Privacy Principles where they apply.

Depending on how you interact with us, we may collect:

• Account and contact details — such as name, email address, business name, phone number, and role.
• Billing information — payment-related details processed by our payment providers (we do not store full card numbers on our own servers).
• Operational content you submit — forms, documents, maintenance records, schedules, notes, user profiles, and other data you enter into the Services.
• Vehicle tracking data — device identifiers, vehicle associations, approximate GPS or network-assisted location points, timestamps, trip/route history, ignition or movement status, and calculated distance or odometer figures derived from tracked movement.
• Technical and usage data — IP address, browser type, device information, pages viewed, referring URLs, and diagnostic logs that help us operate and secure the Services.
• Communications — messages you send to support or sales (for example, emails to hello@fleetcentr.com).

We use personal information to:

• provide, maintain, and improve the Services;
• process orders, subscriptions, and payments;
• display vehicle locations, trips, and related tracking features where you have enabled Vehicle Tracking;
• send service notices, billing updates, and (where permitted) product communications;
• respond to enquiries and provide customer support;
• monitor security, prevent abuse, and troubleshoot issues;
• comply with legal obligations and enforce our Terms of Service.

We do not sell personal information.

If you use Fleet Centr Vehicle Tracking, please note the following:

• Tracking devices are manufactured and supplied by a third-party OEM. Location and related telemetry typically travel through secured third-party network and platform infrastructure before being made available in your Fleet Centr account.
• That third-party data path is protected with appropriate security controls and is not available to the general public. Access is limited to systems and parties involved in delivering the tracking Service to you.
• Position reports are generated on a best-effort basis (commonly using GPS and/or network-assisted methods, often around every three seconds when conditions allow). Location and derived distance values are approximate and subject to environmental and technical variation, as described in our Terms of Service.
• Tracking data is intended for your organisation's operational use. You are responsible for ensuring that device installation and any monitoring of vehicles or drivers complies with workplace, privacy, and other applicable laws in your jurisdiction (including providing any required notices to employees or contractors).

We may share personal information with:

• Service providers who help us operate the Services (for example hosting, email delivery, analytics, payment processing, OEM device/connectivity partners, and customer support tools), under contractual obligations to protect the information;
• Your organisation's authorised users, according to the permissions configured in your account;
• Professional advisers or authorities where required by law, legal process, or to protect rights, safety, and security;
• A successor entity in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, subject to appropriate protections.

Where we use subprocessors (including those involved in vehicle tracking data transit), we take steps designed to ensure they handle information only as needed to provide their services to us and to you.

We and our service providers may process information in Australia and other countries. Where information is transferred internationally, we take reasonable steps to ensure it remains protected in a manner consistent with this Policy and applicable law.

We implement technical and organisational measures appropriate to the nature of the information we process, including access controls, encryption in transit where appropriate, and monitoring. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure; you use the Services acknowledging residual risk.

We retain personal information for as long as needed to provide the Services, meet legal and accounting obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce agreements. Tracking history and operational records are retained according to product settings and our backup and retention practices unless you request deletion where we are able to accommodate it.

Subject to applicable law, you may request access to, correction of, or deletion of personal information we hold about you, or object to certain processing. Account administrators can also manage user access and much of the operational data within the product.

To make a privacy request, contact hello@fleetcentr.com. We may need to verify your identity before responding. You may also unsubscribe from marketing emails using the link in those messages (service and billing messages may still be sent).

Our websites and applications may use cookies and similar technologies for essential functionality, security, preferences, and analytics. You can control cookies through your browser settings; disabling some cookies may affect how the Services work.

The Services are intended for business use and are not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children for the Services.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date will change when we do. Continued use of the Services after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised Policy where permitted by law.
